We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Account Director. This role will be instrumental in leading client relationships, ensuring seamless communication, and driving the strategic direction of our digital marketing services. The successful candidate will also oversee our management team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure operational excellence and service delivery at the highest level.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for top-tier clients, building strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and mutual respect.
- Understand client needs, goals, and expectations, and proactively identify opportunities to add value and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored digital marketing strategies that drive results and deliver a measurable return on investment.
Ensure that client retention targets are met to help achieve agency growth objectives
Strategic Account Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client objectives and drive business growth.
- Lead strategic discussions and present recommendations to clients, leveraging industry insights, market trends, and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to maximize account revenue and profitability whilst also achieving YoY growth
Team Leadership and Management Oversight:
- Provide leadership and guidance to our management team, ensuring operational excellence and service delivery at the highest level.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, empowering team members to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results.
- Coordinate resources, workflows, and priorities to optimise team performance and productivity.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and provide regular updates to clients on campaign progress, optimisation opportunities, and ROI.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports and presentations, highlighting key insights, achievements, and recommendations for future strategy enhancements.
- Work closely with clients to set KPIs, establish benchmarks, and track progress towards campaign objectives.
- Proven experience (5 years+) in a client-facing role within a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, with expertise in SEO, PPC, and Paid Social advertising.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing tailored account plans that drive business growth and deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (preferred).
