Harbour House case study

Harbour
House.
45% more organic traffic in under four months.

Overview.

Harbour House is an all-day restaurant, bar and events venue in a historic transit shed on Bristol's floating harbour. We ran its local SEO.

The objective.

The brand already ranked well, but it was missing diners still deciding where to eat. The goal was to become the top choice for anyone searching for a harbourside restaurant, and drive new bookings.

Our approach.

We targeted diners ready to book, with content around key moments, a seafood hub and a fuller Google Business Profile.

How we did it.

We improved the main pages to target local searches from people ready to book, and created content around key moments, starting with Sunday lunch.

We launched a seafood hub that answers diners' questions about mussels and southwest seafood, and added details like the different menus to the Google Business Profile.

The results.

Organic traffic rose 45% in 16 weeks, top three rankings 27% and AI Overview citations 600%. Harbour House now tops the map pack for “sunday lunch bristol harbourside”, moved from #7 to #2 for “places to eat bristol harbourside”, and its seafood pages rank first for “how to eat mussels”.
