Technical SEO

Search engines see a different site to the one you built. We close the gap.

Trustpilot

Crawl. Index. Render.
Get those three right and everything else you do in search starts working harder.

What we fix

The work that decides whether anything else lands

Crawling and indexation

We find what search engines can’t reach, what they’re wasting time on, and what’s sitting outside the index by accident rather than by choice.

Site architecture

Shorter routes to the pages that earn money, and internal links that push authority where you actually want it to go.

Page experience

Speed, layout stability and mobile usability, judged on what real visitors experience rather than a lab score on a good day.

Structured data and entities

Schema that spells out what you sell, who you help and why you’re credible, so machines don’t have to guess.

JavaScript rendering

If your content only exists once the JavaScript has run, we check that Google and the AI crawlers genuinely see it.

Migrations and releases

Redirect maps, staging checks and a rollback plan. Most of the traffic we’re asked to recover was lost on a launch day.

What else we do

Search is bigger than one discipline

Neon-lit city street at night

Google Search

Keywords that map to money, pages that deserve to rank, and links that earn their place.

AI search

Being the answer ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews reach for, rather than the site they scroll past.

Conversion

Traffic is only half of it. We find where the money leaks out of the journey and fix the page, not the theory.

Digital PR

Stories the press actually wants, and the links and brand mentions that follow.

Data insights

Dashboards built around your goals rather than the tool’s defaults, so you can see what search is doing to the business.

Social search

Your buyers search TikTok, YouTube and Reddit before they reach Google. We make sure you turn up there too.

Everything well built starts underneath.

Crawl paths, indexation, rendering and speed decide whether anything you publish is ever seen. We fix the layer your customers never look at and every search engine judges you on.

How we work

Four steps, in this order, every time

Crawl and index audit

An 80+ point audit that starts with how search engines and AI crawlers see your site today. What they can reach, where crawl budget goes, and what’s staying out of the index.

Prioritise by commercial impact

Not every issue is worth fixing. We map each finding against the pages that make you money, so the roadmap leads with what’s holding rankings back rather than what’s easiest to spot.

Fit the roadmap to your team

We learn your CMS quirks, your release cycle and your developer capacity. A roadmap your team can ship beats a wish list that stalls at handover.

Prove the fix landed

Re-crawls, rendering checks and index coverage tracking. We show you the change worked, not just that it went live.

The first crawler you need to please is no longer Google’s.

AI assistants read your markup, your structure and your entities long before they quote you. The work that makes a site legible to Google is the same work that makes it quotable in an AI answer.

Technical SEO is where AI readiness starts

AI assistants are answering the questions your buyers used to type into Google. Getting picked up by them is a technical job before it is a content one.

We set the rules for how AI crawlers reach your site, structure your content and entity signals so machines understand what you do and who you do it for, and clear out anything that leaves your brand ambiguous.

Then we measure AI visibility, so you can see which of it is working and what it’s worth.

Frequently asked questions

What is technical SEO?

Technical SEO is the work that makes your site easy for search engines and AI crawlers to reach, read and understand. Sitemaps, crawl paths, indexation, site speed, rendering, structured data and site architecture all sit under it. Design and content can be excellent and still earn nothing if the machines reading your site can’t get to them.

Why does technical SEO matter?

Because it sets the ceiling on everything else. You can publish strong content and earn good links, and a rendering fault or a stray noindex will still keep the pages you care about out of the results. Technical work is also the cheapest growth available on most sites, since the traffic is already earned and something is blocking it.

What does your audit cover?

More than 80 checks, grouped into crawl access, indexation, architecture and internal linking, rendering, page experience, structured data and entity signals, and AI crawler access. You get findings ranked by commercial impact rather than by severity score, with the reasoning shown so your team can challenge it.

How do you work with our developers?

We write tickets, not recommendations. Each item comes with the problem, the fix, how to test it and how we’ll verify it afterwards, in whatever format your team already uses. We’ll join stand ups and release planning if that helps, and we’ll tell you when something is not worth your developers’ time.

How do you report on technical SEO?

You get a live dashboard built around your goals during onboarding, so progress is visible at any point rather than once a month. On top of that, your account manager sends a weekly email update, a monthly report and runs a scheduled catch up. Every fix is tracked through to a re-crawl, so you can see it landed.

Let’s look at your foundations

Send us your domain and we’ll come back with what’s holding it back, before you commit to anything.
